On Being Recommended

I don’t know that there’s a more wonderful feeling than having someone say in print,”we recommend this book,” when you are the author of said book.

Today, On A LARP was listed as a “book which makes a  great holiday gift.”

Happy 1st of December to me 🙂 Thank you Tampa Bay News Weekly and Tiffany Razzano.

And PS: I may be partial, but I think Tiffany is right… it does…

…make a great holiday gift…

… just saying 🙂

  1. I agree, what an excellent book! On A LARP takes you through a fast and intense plot while getting to know some amazing kids.

It’s a great read, great gift.

Waiting to see in theaters or at least the second in the series.

  2. It’s a great read for teens and young adults, highlighting a world where diversity is so very cool and the characters jump off the page into your heart. Not to mention the fun of learning about live action role playing, steampunk and how very smart kids outwit a villain.

  3. I’m not a teenager and I loved the book. Read it twice. Sid is a great character as are all the rest of those brainiacs. It was a refreshing change from the usual lesfic plots and brilliantly written. I recommend it to my book club. I just started Carousel and I’m looking forward to the next Sid book.
I read where you worked on some of my favorite TV, Haven, The Dead Zone. I didn’t know the Dresden Files was on TV. I’ve read the whole series and loved it. Thanks for your work and the hours of entertainment. You have a fan here.

    1. Dear Lisa,
Your kindness and generosity in reaching out to me to say you loved my book is everything. And if I have a fan in you, you have a fan in me. Thank you so very much for taking time to find and read LARP, and then to find me. AND — thank you for looking forward to ZERO SUM GAME – it’s “due date” is closing in and I am so happy to know people (other than my mother :)) are looking forward to reading it!
Best Wishes, and then even more better ones,
